What we do

We wash cars. Specifically: Express tunnel wash, Full-Service tunnel wash with hand-finishing, customer-operated Self-Serve wand bays, and Auto Detailing — all at locations we own and operate. Our tunnels use modern soft-touch closed-cell foam, which is paint-safe on contemporary clear-coat finishes and effective on the road salt and brine that defines Canadian winter driving.

The Daily Wash Club membership lets customers wash unlimited times per month at any of our tunnel locations for a flat monthly price. No contract, cancel anytime. Most members wash 2-4 times per week.

Our story

Popular Car Wash grew, location by location, out of a simple idea: a dedicated car wash — one that does not share staff or attention with a gas pump or a convenience store — washes cars better. The first sites opened along the Etobicoke / Brampton corridor in the GTA. Demand for tunnel wash and unlimited-membership washing pulled us east into Scarborough, north into Durham Region (Whitby, Oshawa, Port Perry, Uxbridge), and west into the Hamilton area (Barton St E, Stoney Creek Centennial Pkwy). We now operate 11 sites and continue to look for the right corners — the kind with good road frontage, commuter traffic patterns, and water+power infrastructure that lets us run modern soft-touch tunnels at scale.

Three things have stayed constant across the growth: every location is a dedicated wash facility (no fuel pumps, no quick-marts), every tunnel is built around paint-safe soft-touch technology rather than older brush systems or older non-foam touchless setups, and the Daily Wash Club membership works at every Popular tunnel site so a member who lives near Etobicoke and works near Whitby can use the same membership in both places without paying twice.

Where we operate

11 locations across three regions: 5 in the Greater Toronto Area (Etobicoke Rexdale Blvd, Etobicoke The West Mall, Etobicoke Dundas, Scarborough Steeles, Brampton Rivermont), 4 in Durham Region (Whitby Hopkins — both Building A and B count as one site with two buildings, Oshawa Bond, Port Perry, Uxbridge), and 2 in the Hamilton area (Hamilton Barton St East and Stoney Creek Centennial Pkwy). Self-serve sites at Hamilton Barton, Whitby Building A, Port Perry, and Uxbridge accept tap-to-pay and coins.

Our promise

100% Clean Car Guarantee. If you are not satisfied with your wash, tell our staff and we will re-wash the car. The whole point of running dedicated wash facilities is that wash quality is the only thing we do — there is no fuel pump, no convenience store, and no other service competing for our staff's attention.

Community

We host fundraisers for schools, sports teams, and community groups across our 11 locations. Most of our staff live in the same communities they work in. We are a Canadian business and we operate like one — local, accountable, here for the long run.
